Re: Batmobile Poll
Neat concepts, no real STYLE.
If someone didn't TELL you it was a Batmobile you would know. Looks more like a Terminator-mobile to me.
Would it have killed them to even IMPLY the rear fins a bit more with bigger flat sheet metal thingies?

Re: Batmobile Poll
I must design one. I hope to design one that 99% of the fans would enthusiasticaly want to see made, and in some way filmed. That would be a huge acomplishment.
But I will say this vehicle is really cool on various levels, but imagine if they did a Batman movie and in this movie there would be no remnants of a traditional batsuit. Some sort of mask, but no ears, no cape, no emblem. Or for some reason no Alfred. It would just be such a hard thing to sell. So now you got a batmobile that has no Batman motif in the design, almost the same thing as a batsuit without ears, or a chest emblem, tough to warm up to.

Re: Batmobile Poll
It will be hit and miss. There's so many variables to any design that I will have to do many on paper. I just gotta keep crankin em' out till I get one that really grabs people. I do have a feel for when somethings working, and when it's not, but when something is really cookin everyone will know it. In other words it will start as an idea that I will just do what needs to be done to finish it. Good design has logic to it.

I think I would have to go with '89 as well as #1. I think the tumbler prototype will go through changes as the movies progress. But, I have to admit, I can't wait to see it jump!

Re: Batmobile Poll
True, a front end might help me like it more.
I'm all for the Forever car. (I think i'm the only one who voted for it)
Not only is it modern and practical, it has it roots in the comics.
89 is second for me, it was first until I saw forever.
Who knows, maybe we'll like it more once we see it.

Re: Batmobile Poll
My vote is the forever car. Seeing both up close is believing. forget the schumacher connection. Sleeker, faster looking. take away the day glow lights. Look at it purely from a design perspective. Race car influenced. Forget the fin opening up. Trust me up close this is one bad#$# design.

Re: Batmobile Poll
When I say the new car looks very "Un-bat-like" it doesn't mean everything has to have a wing or a fin on it.
I like that the new car looks like it's built for work, not just trying to look like a batmobile.
Some of the best looking cars have been in the comic books and not on film.
