Batcycles Information


Just a brief rundown of batman movies/tv motorbikes
Please feel free to update/correct this list.

1966 TV show
batman had batcycle http://perso.wanadoo.fr/marc.seriau/batcycle.jpg = Yamaha Catalina 250 also used a 59 harley for 1 episode
batgirl had a batcycle http://www.catsupbottle.com/otherfun/friendspix/batgirl/batgirlbike.jpg = Yamaha YDS-5E

1989 batman (keaton) NO MOTORBIKES

1992 batman returns (keaton) NO MOTORBIKES

1995 batman forever (kilmer/o’donnell) NO MOTORBIKES

1997 B&R (klooney/o’donnell/Silverstone)
o’donnel had redbird http://www.modelman5.com/robinsredbirdpics.htm = ?
Silverstone had her own bike http://supercollections.ubergirls.org/images/BatGirl07.jpg = 600cc Honda prototype

2005 bb ?

anyone know what the redbird was based on?

For Batman Begins, a guy I know that works at WB said that at one point they had the garage full of Batmobiles and Batcycles for the new flick. I didnt think to ask what they'd look like, but he's a pretty reliable source.

DarthJimmy,

If you can get your hands on a copy of THE MAKING OF BATMAN AND ROBIN I know there is a bit of info in there on what Bike they used as a base.

I do have the book somewhere, but at this time can't put my hands on it.


I do recall there being pics of the base Bike, and a mention of the engine size etc.
