I spent about 2 hours on the phone talking to Lucky, the owner at Exotic Replicas, about his Batmobile project. It's designed for a C-5 Vette chassis, with a Viper as a second possible doner car. They hope to offer body kits & turn-key cars.
I've seen a few of thier Lambo & Ferrari replicas at Fiero meets, & these guys do very professional work.
If you're considering a custom car project, talk to this guy & tell him I sent you

If it sits on a C5 chassis, is the body scaled to fit or dos the chassis need stretched?

Just so the Guys on the BOTB knows.. Lucky or exoticreplicas doesnt even have a Mold for the '89 Replica!
Those pictures are from a friend of mine who actually lives near Artsee in Orlando. He works as a Police officer (CSI) but ws formally a Aircraft engineer. He has been making his mold for the last two years and is getting ready to sell them. The owner of the site Exoctic Replicas heard this and wanted to come and look at his mold, he looked very interested in purchasing one from my friend. He snapped off a couple pictures, even had my friend take one with him next to the car. He tells my friend he will give him a Kit car Porche for the Batmobile mold, my friend wasn't interested in a kit car he just wanted the money, needless to say Lucky wasn't happy but he was still going to purchase one from my friend, but before he knows it, he has put it up on his site saying he is going to be offering a mold and using his pictures! He finds out he was going to buy his mold and sell future molds he made as his own work! Needless to say He never sold him anything, and I have no idea how he is going to sell anything remotely like a Batmobile. Someone put up a link for that website 1989batmobile.com, I know that guy to, I would like to call him a friend as he has helped me with so many things pertaining to the batmobile. Email him and he confirms this story. Lol oh and if you even start talking about this story to lucky he will practically just hang up on you, before he gets a serious attitude. He won't talk about it, but he knows what hes doing, and who those pictures are from.
Just thought I would give you a heads up.
If you want the real stats on what you have to use when you do get a mold its a '94-'95 Caprice. If that lucky guy even tries to mold a car out of a Vette its going to be a piece of junk. Vettes just can't be worked on as frames have to be extended, Engine has to be dropped, steering column has to be removed. It would just be a huge mess.
Ill be starting my batmobile pretty soon, just securing some things together, Ill post some pictures when I can get them.
Again I just wanted to let everyone know the truth on this subject, I didn't want to go into it because its a long story, I felt I needed to, only because of what the BOTB has brought me, and for the fantasitc people I have met.
