Thanks so much guys. :)
Darkphoenix, there's really nothing that can be done with those extra parts or even the complete rangs...they are quite literally TRASH.
I know you probably think you can salvage something from them, but believe me its just a pile of crap and not worth the effort and I can fix almost anything. :p

Re: Making a working '89 Batarang...updated pics pg. 11
The only clay I've used, aside from some pottery clay in the past,is Super Sculpey.
So,the Sonar sculpt is Super Sculpey,so yes it'll get baked.
The head is solid clay. The body has a wire armature going through it...like a skeleton for support. Then the clay is added and built up and fleshed out.
Base on the way I sculpt and seeing pics of other peoples work,I don't do it the correct way. Most other sculptors mount a rod to a board and attach the wire armature to that. I just pick it up and sculpt.
I may not be the best person to ask advice on this subject since I don't actually know how to sculpt...no joke. There are better ways and better techniques that I'm not familier with and more formal ways of doing it. Not that there's a right way or wrong way,but I think you might find more helpful info on the internet than what I can offer. I don't think I can teach it since I don't know exactally how I do it. After a few hours it just turns into something, but I'm not sure how it ended up that way.
I'll help you with what I can,but I don't know how much that will be.
