2 Designs of my Minirang - Mold and Latex Copies - Pics
My 89 Batarang is soon 100% done.
Then i will mold it and make a few copies of resin.
Dunno yet exactly when its done because i dont work so much on it, losing the "wanting" sometimes.
So then 3 days ago i found a site here in sweden that have latex, so i order like 1 liter of it, dunno how much i need but it didnt cost much.
What i had in planing from there is that im gonna pickup some clay, oil based so i can work whit the sculpt as long as i want.
Im gonna try to make my own belt, I went for the Panther belt because i think its the coolest one.
So soon im gonna start sculpting that belt. will take my time, and Gonzalo the man from brazil :up have sent me a Panther buckle.
When it arrives i can start whit all the real details. maybe make a copy of that buckle and use it in the sculpt.
Then hopefully when the belt sculpt is done im gonna mold it whit plaster, (Thanks Ludakris for all help) and mix the latex to pour into the mold. and eventully when that have cured enough.. hopefully i have my first belt and custom piece.
What do you guys think?
Tips and such is welcome!
Will ofcourse post pics of the progress, But as i said above.. im gonna take my time.

That's great. I knew you'd find some supplies over there. Now the only thing stopping you is how much you want it.
It seems that you've got a good plan, can't wait to see how it all comes together for you.

You should try to get a hold of him to find anything you might need in terms of materials. If you need help you know where to come.

Worked about 3 hours on the batarang today the final details are done, ive sanded it down over the whole piece whit sandpaper.
The only thing left on it is to use really nice sandpaper to get it all smooth and nice.
Then its ready for molding :)

My latex arrived today, still at the post office but i will get it tomorrow.
Gonna pick up some clay so i can start whit the belt to.
And sandpaper.. so i can finish the rang and mold it :)
