Re: A little update on my 89 Belt Buckle project!!

Henry, I can't tell you how awestruck I am. I am going to be checking my computer daily for updates, just to see anything on your progress! This project of yours is a dream come true!

And, like many, I have a question: Will it come yellow or will we have to paint it yellow ourselves?

All of your work is amazing, so I know there is no chance of disappointment. You are the man, Henry!

Inkmonkey, Jokerscrowbar and Crazzierbats,

Thanks Bros!! :cheers

Apocalypton,

Thanks Zane!! emoticon The Buckle should locks well according to my design...I hope. :p We'll see if I need to make some modifications once the resin prototype is done. :lol BTW, I have just replied your email. :mail

Phantombatman,

Thanks for your kind words and support Red!! Sure you will be on the list when the time comes. :wink BTW, I have just replied your email. :mail

Brin Londo,

Thanks Brin!! I really appreciate your kindness. :hug

This will be my first Begins Cowl and I am looking forward to see it!! LOL!! :lol

Pjwares,

Many thanks for your help Paul!! :hug I am very glad to know that you like the design drawings!!

I can see from the copy of the screen used buckle that the belt straps is held in place by two metal pins on both halfs of the buckle but I am thinking to use two screws on the place where the metal pins is to held the belt straps instead, so Bros can easily replace their existing buckle of their 89 belt or attached the buckle on the full around belt straps offered by you or Janty. :wink

I would love a strap to test with it, I'll email you once I have the resin prototype done. Thanks in advance!! emoticon

I am very looking forward to see your detachable capsules belt straps!! Please keep us posted!! :bounce

And Merry Christmas to you too!!

Menore and EchoSix,
Thanks Bros!! :cheers
Just hope the final product of this 89 Buckle will turns out well. :lol

Thuth,

Thanks for your kind words Tony!! And glad to know that you like the drawings. emoticon

I intended to make the outside walls of the Buckle thin so that the final product Buckle will not be heavy to wear. Since this Buckle will be made in diecast metal which is not a brittle material and the plates which is attached at the back of the buckle will gives support to it, sure the final product Buckle will be sturdy enough. :wink

Reevz666,
Thanks Bro!! :cheers

Efarrell4,

Thanks Ed!! :hug
The Panther Buckles are now in the chroming factory, once they are black chromed and assembled, they will be ready to ship. I'll keep you posted on this. :wink

Monkeybat,

Oh toys toys toys and its so near Christmas. Will those capsules have lights explodeing bombs etc etc, shark repellent?

Ask Paul!! I hope so!! emoticon

KnightStix,

Thanks for your kind words and your always support on my projects Bro and I really appreciate that!! :hug

Sure you will be on the top of the list when the time comes my friend. :up

Blackwood Bat,

Thanks John!! emoticon

These drawings are meant to be shown to the metal factory so that they will have a basic concept on how I want to make the Buckle, so I have color the parts in different colors on the drawings so they can see clearly on how I want the Buckle to be constructed before I have my resin prototype done. :wink

BTW, If you want a Joker style coloring 89 Buckle, I can personally made one for you. emoticon :rollin :rollin

DerGrundel,

Thanks for your kind words Bro!! And I really appreciate that!! :hug

The final product will be yellow chromed or yellow anodized. There is no need to paint it yourself. :wink

Clevelandfx,

Thanks Tom!! emoticon

I always prefer chroming or anodize so that the color will stay permanently and not easily get scratch off, especially for belt buckles which will needs to take on and off often. :wink

Thanks everyone!!

Henry :cheers

Henry has the best customer service I think I have seen anywhere, hands down. And the fact that he does this out of his own heart and not for a business makes this hobby all the more worthwhile.

Those pictures are definitely making my mouth water...Look forward to hearing news about the Panther and may even want an '89!

No no, emoticon emoticon to you.

Not sure what metal you were going with, that's why I asked about the powder coat. I can see playing with it enough just because it's so damn cool that it'd wear off. I was just concerned about the color and how close you could get to match the original and the belt itself. Even with anodizing you can wear it over time, just takes longer.

I have faith in you, and put me on the list of contactees for this for sure...time to make a buckle jar.
