Shooting Net
I know I saw this topic posted last year. I emailed the company and they said they discontinued the item, but it looks like they updated they're website and the netshooter is still on there.

Someone mentioned that if one person gets ahold of it, then they can reverse engineer it and see how it works so we can build one from scratch.

Re: Has anybody tried getting one of these yet?
The outside edges of the net must have small weights and when it's packed in the shooter I bet all the small weight net edges are resting together in the center of the net. That way it will spread out with the shot.
(My engineering estimate. Yes, they used to call me Spock and not for just my eyebrows.)
That's VERY interesting and has a classic Batman theme, catching the crook without harm.
COOL FIND!!
I'm going to snoop around a bit more about this one.

Re: Has anybody tried getting one of these yet?
lol good luck. I tried my best and the only thing i could find was they're website and engadget.com's article on the net shooter. No price though. You have to sign up with they're newsletter to get they're pricelist for some reason.
UPDATE:
I just got they're pricelist...they're a wholeseller, so you have to buy in bulk. Heres the price:
$280 bones and you have to get 100 each. Daaamn.

The Predator's version is best, where it tightens down with that "Unobtaineum" metal of theirs and it slices and dices the victim.
:firemad AAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA... I LOVE IT! :firemad

Wow that's pricey... I guess I'm not willing to take my hobby to the next level with that price.

Are they pretty much disposable? Like you can't reload them and just pick up another one from your pile of 100 once you've caught a bad guy?
