Here is the finished boot guards on some boots i made as well out of walmart shoes, and some leather uppers form the thrift store and jawafive's ankle guards Just need to touch up the ankles with some plastidip and were good to go!Let me know what you think?

I agree! Those Wal-Mart Kicks are a great "close enough" pair of shoes. The armor looks great! I started off doing an '89 suit and I would love to come back and finish it up at some point. Like alot of people my age '89 was the Batman we grew up with... Again, great work on the armor.
