Re: '66 Batman cowl
I've said it before but I feel it is worth mentioning again- I am lucky enough to own one of Chucks cowls and believe me this is as close as you could possibly get to a screen used cowl!! Chuck is also one of the nicest people I've had the pleasure of doing business with.

Re: '66 Batman cowl
:dropjaw Chuck I was a big fan of the series way back in the 60's when I was knee high to a grass hopper. If you hadn't told us that it was you in the picture I would have easily believed I was looking at Adam West!! :dancespot
That is amazing :up

Re: '66 Batman cowl
His is the best I have ever seen and I have seen the fabric up close. It is the real thing. I want one. Even better and more accurate than Clint's or Wally's. The only thing that is slightly different is the outside edge of the black latex line on the side. Why is it lightly exaggerated in it's shape on your version?

Re: '66 Batman cowl
Thanks Paul!
Not exaggerated, just cherrypicking from the wide variety of paint jobs done on these. There aren't two cowls that are the same on the show!
The photo below is one done in the same time period on the show as the one I was using as reference. They are actually very similar but it's hard to see sometimes because of the angle and the sheen.
For instance my avatar is the same cowl but the angle and contrast minimizes the shape.
It's not latex by the way. It's paint. Layers and layers of paint!
Thanks again!
Chuck...
