Re: Plasti-dipping my Begin's suit
Sorry it took me so long to post, but I was waiting for my friend to give me the pics we took after I finished plasti-dipping. Since I still don't have them, I'll post the few that I got.
and with my 'super' friend Dave, whom you know as David Kent.
I'll try and take a few more pics in full regalia as soon as I can, but I've run across yet another problem that I need help with.
The placement of the cowl and the height of the shoulders do not match. So basically, the end of the cowl, hangs about an inch above the shoulders, as you can see in that second picture. I need to find a way to beef up the shoulder area so that the chestpiece meets the cowl. Now, I've been doing shoulder shrugs at the gym, but no matter how hard I work, the only Halloween I'll have my shoulder's beefed up enough to do that for is Halloween 2009. So, I need some kind of shoulder pads to glue inside the chestpiece that will raise the latex up about an inch. I'm thinking styrofoam, but as I know from experience, it pays to check with the Bro's first. Have any of you guys had the same experience? Is there some solution I haven't thought of?

Re: Plasti-dipping my Begin's suit
Don't use styrofoam, that's the stuff they make cups out of.
What you need is (more than likely) 1" upholstery foam (cushion foam).
Try a 1" thick piece, and if that's not enough, go to 2".
