Actually, Howard did make a Urethane version of his cowl which he claimed was wearable. lemme see if I can dig up the pics.....

here ya go! I asked him to make me one a couple years ago, as well as a couple other bros, and he refused saying that he was afraid of WB finding out. Maybe now that it's a couple years later someone will have better luck.

Wow,who woulda thought.
If you wore this,you would always have to have your head turned in order for it to fit right. If you look completely straight forward and stood at "attention",it would put pressure on the left side,while distoring the right side. Also your eyes wouldn't be centered.
It's only off ever-so-slightly,but very obvious and just enough for lack of a comfortable fit.

the reason it's turned to the right is becaue he sculpted it on a Monster Makers bust, which has a slight turn to the head ...I know of 2 cowls that Howard made but I've never seen anyone wearing it...also that last pic witgh the cowl displayed on the stand is a resin cowl that had the mouth and eyes cut out
