The thing is, with Foamies, is that they curl up when they get wet. If you try Patrick's advice, then definitely glue two layers of Foamies together first. The lamination will creat a stronger rigidity to the two and won't curl while the latex is drying.
I'm only speaking for the 1/8" thick Foamies, that I've tried that with myself. They DO make 1/4" Foamies, but I don't know if it's strong enough to prevent itself from curling up when it gets wet from paint or latex, like the thinner stuff does.
And I got my suit from Joeker89. He doesn't make them anymore, unfortunately. He made the patterning himself, with a whole mess of little bats as the muscle pattern, instead of the brick pattern like in the Spiderman suit. He tried a few different color schemes, but this one I just love. To my knowledge it came in as a mistake. He was told that they can't be made this dark, when on the white material it was printed on. But this one did. 
Thanks. I love this suit too. Along with the cape that Joe made as well and the Reevz cowl, I think it's a pretty cool Batman.
