Cowl Electronics

Has anyone tried to mount electronics gear (hearing piece, voice amp, fans, lights, etc) inside a cowl yet? I had some ideas but my sonar cowl does not really have the room inside it for much.

all Ive ever done is wear my cell phones ear piece inside the cowl, it was cool because I have the voice dial, so I could push the button which was right under my ear and say call home or something like that and it would dial, I felt really cool haha, but it was neat

I also have only done the phone earpiece thing.
I was at Wizard World and it seemed that everyone wanted to call me when I was dressed as Batman. My phone kept ringing and I couldnt hear thru the cowl so I put in the earpiece.

I never thought of fans, dont think one would fit??
And why would you put lights in your cowl??

Well the fans I meant to put somewhere in the armor. As for the lights, I just thought if I did an underwater batsuit having them made into the sides of the cowl or having the eyes light up or something. Just something I was toying with. I got a great deal on some very small under car neon lights that can be wired up to a 9volt batt and a switch. $1.95 so if I needed them or not it was still a great deal! lol

Ive actually thought about it, too. Like, having a small amplifier in one ear so tht when you talk it makes your voice louder and more intense, scarier... or in the other ear have two small holes drilled out to have a mic (for peeking in on conversations) and a small camera, both flush with the surface so they wouldnt stand out, and an earpeice inside the cowl like the phone earpiece. emoticon Maybe even a two way radio with an antenna in the ear. Plenty of space in those ears, ya know.....

A camera is a very cool idea! I went to Wal-Mart and bought some of the Spy Gear stuff. One was a little infared light and the other was a micro ear. I tried to fit the micro ear under my cowl and it almost pushed through my ear drum lol. Now the little light is just the right size for Batman's famous little finger light! The little ear clip works ok to wrap around your finger but I think I am gonna attach some kind of strap or maybe a metal keyring to it to keep it from falling off my glove. Also this stuff fits perfectly in a utility belt and it really works too! I think the camera idea is great though, gonna put some thought into that and see if I can get it to work.
