BatGuano Belt Modified Assembly

Hey all,

I love this belt, but right out of the gate I decided that I didn't want to have to put that many screws into the thing to get it together. More because of my fear of adding brittle stress points than anything else.

I was able to use one long 500/1000 lb test cable run through the length of the belt and fastened at only one end (See Pics). I drilled holes through the buckle and just ran it all the way through.

I think it looks much better this way and allows for a little more flexibility. Plus I only had to use two screws on the whole belt.

For a fastener I bought a couple of the larger magnets and glued them to the ends. They hold amazingly well and make for easy behind the back hookup. Plus I think it looks better overall with the belt design. Hats off to Guano for making a great belt!

Not too shabby. I have some ideas on how to upgrade mine. Where did you get the magnets? I ended up using 1/4"x1/4" steel stock.. cut into 1" pieces.. and painted silver... i want chrome-- as well as magnets.

I took the time to drill out the screws on the buckle and put real hex head screws in place of the dimples...

i am currently brainstorming on a better cable system.. screws in the ends just doesnt do it for me..

Ill keep you in the loop..
