Begins Belt Buckle - WIP - Pics Pg. 1-2

well I sat all day watching Bb belt kit on ebay and when it came to the last min I place a bid and the damned ebay page froze grrrr ...lol oh well. Im not having any luck with putting my begins suit together, Got my Armour from Kris realy great!!!and bought the gloves and boots from germanbat but The damed postal service lost em!!!!(I in Autralia) can you believe that!!!

I reckon someone at the mail center has a boot fetish and when they saw that my package contaied a pair o begins boots and rubber gloves ohhhhhhh they decided to keep em... me very sad ,Maybe the big black hole were things disapear in the postal service will spit em back up and land on my door one day but gee I tell ya guys this dream of me having a good begins outfit is really really hard emoticon

But Anyways the show must go on..chin up... I decided to lift my spirits by getting stuck into the start of making my own Belt(I had planned to ayways if nothing showed up) so thought id just stick a pic up for ya to have a look at.Is still in early stages but should turn out nice

enuff, okkies, You guys have a grrrreat Day..or night whereever ya may be.

Re: Hard putting a begins suit together

Putting a suit together can be hard on the patience sometimes. Took me a year to build my first one. Will take even longer for this second one. Just depends on how much of a perfectionist you are sometimes. And I don't believe that is a good trait to have. :lol

Buckle looks great so far. I know the whole thing will look incredible based on how your gauntlets turned out. Take your time to make it screen accurate and us "perfectionists" will be knocking down your door. :wink

Have you put any thought into how you will connect all the links and buckle together?

Re: Hard putting a begins suit together

Havnt decided yet on how to connect em, was thinking of using cable but think that might be way too much effort. I have seen how the strapping works and I think the reason why some dont sit right with this method is because the first 1 or two links from the buckle have to be smaller and angeled to give the curve around the hip,I`ll prob decide what way to tackle it when I have all the bits sitting to play with. Me just decided to play with this today as I had the glooms lol. And Ill get back onto the ninja gantlets next week hopefully, my last exam is friday so holidays after that,so Ill be updating for anyone interested in how they r going.

Re: Hard putting a begins suit together

Been working on my suit for over 2 years. Just next week will I be getting my first undersuit (top only).

People say this is an expensive hobby but really it takes more patience than anything else. Of course when people see the suit they ask "WHERE DID YOU GET THAT?" and I have to struggle to remember the complete list of people I've been involved with that made it happen. If only it were so easy to just go to one source to get it all.

If you need a cape, I have a ECB Cape with .250" x .250" aluminum plastidipped sq. rod in it to weigh the front, as well as be able to pick the cape up to spread out for show....NEVER USED....Just worn for display for 5min tops...I have a complete Begins suit as well SuperRyan has the armor spoken for but I may part with my belt...It's a Guano belt, that has been improved upon. Made as close to screen pics as possibly down to a magnetic closure in the back, and foam backing throughout the belt...
