I do not have an exact 89 replica logo, but I do have cloce measurments. Based upon all the information provided I should have these plates based and cut out sometime this week.

If someone could donate even just a crappy flawed Panther and Clooney/OnStar emblem as a base to trace. All you need is the correct oval shape and size.
From there,you do everything else.
Like I said,I don't know if the Panther and Clooney emblems are the same shape and size.
Maybe somebody could check. :hey

I have an '89 emblem that is supposedly from a mold of a 1st gen emblem, making it 2nd generation, so i will run the measurements by you to confirm size. That should give me the rest of the dimensions pretty well unless you have other measurements to contribute (hole sizes, widest point H and V, as there is some distortion and foreshortening in the pics). Also, higher res pics might help if available.
John-
I have an actual Panther emblem and also a Clooney Panther cowl flap with holes to generate a Panther template. The Clooney suit had posts at the shoulders for the cape clips so that is a different wrinkle. But the cowls I believe all had flaps with holes nonetheless.
BatGuano-
I can send you the actual .ai path or .dxf for your tool path (and I will post them here with a JPEG, too) when I am done if you don't want to duplicate my work. The whole reason I am doing this is so people will all go by the same base measurements so diferent peoples solutions will be interoperable-- something that doesn't happen around here as much as maybe it could. Just a thought.
Batfan89-
I will also talk to David and doublecheck dimensions if possible. If he has patterns to post, well I didn't spend much time on this yet anyway, and he could post them. He may not be free to share them, though.
