Lookin' spiffy bro! I am impressed 'cause most dudes don't show their molds ;) it's like underwear or an ugly baby photo! haha jk but now I am wondering how it would look to lose he buckle and do a matching gold 89 buckle, make it a straight belt, no front "dip"... I think it would look pretty sharp, no? And your links are very chiseled, they look crisp like real metal!

*edit* Not to say that I don't like your buckle, but in general I think it looks like the arm-scope from the original "War of the Worlds" movie! Shame on you, Chris Nolan!

Gorgeous! And you've sculpted an accurate buckle!! Nobody else seemed interested in doing that so I applaud you. :applaude

wow well done! Are those real magnets? At first thats what I thought I'd get: BB belt with real magnets.
But then I thought, If I fill the pouches with anything electronic, like a small camera, a calculator, a cell phone or what not, couldn't the strength of the magnets mess with the circuitry?

Re: my begins belt progress pix

Hey thx guys, hunterbat, yeah I like to show how I make the stuff I do, I always find it interesting how people take a bit of clay, balsa wood or similar and produce a hard copy from a mould, I just recal how many screw ups Id get when starting out doing moulds and back then was little info around, so if the pics help explain alittle then thats just great.Zmanz, no they are not magnets, was gonna go that way but again was a cash issue and I thought Id just cast my own shapes, I cast em seperate so as to make painting the chrome easier rather than have them as part of the link and then have to hand paint each one, same withthe two gold round bits in the middle of the buckel...now Im off to get some strapping ;)
