Yeah, I am storing the fins seperately and forgot to shoot them. If I get a chance, I will do so next week.
The fins are a little warped but in pretty good shape. Obviously I am thrilled to have them.
The gloves are practically identicle to the '89 version, without the suede and studs, so anyone replicating the '89s can do these as well. I always knew they were close, but did not know they were almost the same.

I contacted La Crasia gloves the company that made the Returns gloves a couple years ago. He said that WB sent him one of the 89 gloves and gave him a really short period of time to make the Returns gloves. He said they were very secretive about it. Tony if you wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to see a hi-res pic of those gloves with the fins sometime.

I have heard this story about LaCrasia before, being the maker of the Returns gloves, but I am not sure they are honest about what role they played.
It is clear that the '89 is simply 2 different off-the-shelf gloves (Fieldsheer hand and probably another model of Fieldsheer glove gauntlet) that have been attached to each other. You can see on the glove where this was done.
Keep in mind that Fieldsheer does not really make their own gloves-- they have a factory in Asia to do this, and the factory puts tags in the gloves.
The Returns version is identicle except for the suede and rivets, including the tag in the guantlet that confirms the guantlet is from an existing glove, not made from scratch.
So it is difficult to think LaCrasia had much to do with the Returns gloves, since they are a custom glove maker. In my mind, it is more likely to think Fieldsheer may have done a modified run of the hand (without suede or rivets) and gave them and the gauntlet parts to a tailor (maybe LaCrasia) to assemble.
I think Bates gloves were supposed to be from LaCrasia and they don't look like mine. In fact, they look like Panther goves (same knuckle ribbing) with a different gauntlet, which makes me think LaCrasia did Forever, not Returns.

Hey Tony,
all Forever or Batman & Robin gloves and boots were devenetly not made by LaCrasia. All these items were made by another company in LA what I know for sure as I got my 3 pairs of original gloves directly from them as I bought all pairs they still have had after repair in there stock.

It is possible that Bates gloves were from this LA company, and not laCrasia.
I have also heard that 2 or more companies made the gloves for Forever and B&R because so many were needed, but I do not have any confirmation of this.

I understood that La Crasia just replicated the 89 glove they were given. Minus the palm studs and suede of course. I sent the guy a picture of the 89 and he said that was the one. Are your gloves tagged at all Tony?
