I recently bought that same grip liner for another costume project. Good luck!nondisclosed_email@example.com (jawafive)Mon, 07 Jul 2008 16:07:03 +0000 Re: (UPDATE!!!)May I have some HeLp PlEaSe? It's 1milmeter thick/half the size of the foamie I used for the legs, so what I did was put it underneath and OMG IT WORKS!!! YOU CAN'T EVEN SEE A LIL CREASE OR ANYTHING! SEAMLESS!!!nondisclosed_email@example.com (MikeydeeBee53)Mon, 07 Jul 2008 14:44:01 +0000 Re: May I have some HeLp PlEaSe? But after they were done I would glue each piece on one at a time using krazy glue brush-on and it hasn't failed me yet.nondisclosed_email@example.com (the89bat)Mon, 07 Jul 2008 11:08:17 +0000 Re: May I have some HeLp PlEaSe? I use the self-stick foamies, they have a sheet on the back, but I just use flat black spraypaint. I cut the foamie first, spray it with the sheet still on the back. This helps keep it from rolling. Another idea, wear the suit or get it to the shape you need it, THEN paint it.nondisclosed_email@example.com (Jedi Magnum)Mon, 07 Jul 2008 10:52:43 +0000 TDK Mesh Suit Foamieshttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2099738,from=rss#post2099738https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2099738,from=rss#post2099738So I am trying out two different ways of making the mesh for TDK suit. I ordered the fishnets, so I'm still waiting on those, but for now I'm trying out those rubber grip mats that you put in cupboards and what not. Using foamies I drew and cut out the thigh pieces, and then glued them to the rubber grip mat as seen here. And I let it sit for a day. And then I plasti dipped them. Now here's the problem... the foamies started to fold up. What should I do? What kind of glue should I use? I'm using the Elmers extra strength spray on glue. Should I plasti dip, then glue it on there?nondisclosed_email@example.com (MikeydeeBee53)Mon, 07 Jul 2008 10:44:40 +0000
