sorry ya'll. Wife's just got back from a three week absence so priorities had to shift a little. I'll try and get the legs up this evening. Sorry bout the delay. I've got the CAD file, just need to export it out to the PDF. Thanks for poking me with the stick to keep me moving forward.

Re: my Batman Begins... foamies
Hello, first post here!
I've been spending hours upon hours the past week reading through all the threads here and in the archives. I'm so happy to have found this place. I'm in the process of putting together a top quality Begins suit, and have been emailing and PM'ing with several members (that I had found elsewhere before finding this great forum.) Wonderful community here, and a fantastic resource.
Anyway, I found this thread and the foamies idea sounded like a lot of fun to try out. The PDF file is a great help, thanks!
Here are some pics of my attempt at the gauntlets --
Foamies cut and glued together:
After 4 coats of Plasti-dip spray:
I think it needs several more coats of Plasti-dip, but not sure if it will ever be super smooth. Maybe better with some kind of primer first? It soaked into the foam a lot the first couple coats.
For being extremely inexpensive, it turned out pretty good. I'll not be using these for my actual costume, but it was a fun project and gives me some other neat ideas. Definitely a cost effective way to do a decent costume though. I've been very impressed with the full costumes I've seen from other members using just the foamies.
It's great to be on the board, and I look forward to interacting with you all more in the future!

What kind of adhesive have you guys been using for gluing the foamies?

I just picked up some generic "foam glue" that I found with the other adhesives at Michael's.
It looks just like regular old Elmers glue, but works like rubber cement in that you apply it to both pieces of foam, let it dry, then push the two pieces together. (You can see the bottle in my second pic -- The brand is "FunCraft")

Re: my Batman Begins... foamies and resin updated 8-3-08)
Alrighty, Here's the long awaited update with legs. Sorry it took so long. for right now it's just the right leg. Arms and left leg and gauntlets will be coming soon. After seeing Kreators creation of the gauntlet I think I need to scale it down a little. looks a little too big at the wrist area. I'll make that modification too. By the way Welcome aboard Kreator, good to have another Oregon Brother.

Glad you like Eden. Still no garauntees these are 100% workable, but it's a starting point. I've not made from the templates yet, but the theory works.
