That is awesome! I'll be able to throw the spandex and fishnets away!

Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?
Last night I noticed a real similar material on back of my motorcycle gloves. (they are new)
So...are you guys planning to make the undersuit out of this material? or putting it over the top your current undersuit?

Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?
*BUMP*
Any word back on the cordura mesh yet Hudson?
Also, just for reference sake, I noticed that there IS a variance in materials. Possibly because of flexibility purposes, they had to change it in certain areas.
*The knees*
Looks like more of a sporty, stretch mesh.
This one would probably be easier to find.
*The neck*
Perhaps they needed something smoother, and more comfortable? I'm not sure.. but the texture is definitely slightly different on the neck.

Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?
Wow, I noticed that on previous pics but wrote them off as seams. The different material is also under the arms and around the inseam as well, I believe .

Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?
I'm just realizing NOW, for some reason, how close this suit is to the NOMEX suit before it was painted, in the fact that THERE IS SO MUCH GOING ON!!! making this suit is going to be like making a hundred or so nomex suits...
I vote on the idea that we all try out hand at parts, and instead of making full suits, one person does the mesh, one does the cowl, one does the fiberglass, one does the carbon fiber urethane, one does the fins, etc.
We would have to REALLY agree on dimensions, though... i don't see us having this stuff screen accurate for a while... :frown
but this is the suit to have. think about it-
no more being restricted by the heat or the weather, heck you could probably even drive in it, (without the cowl on hehe)...

Re: Possible TDK Undersuit fabric lead?
Wow! Pretty awesome to see someone nail down the undersuit. I never thought I'd see that happen! I am very interested to see what Keith hears back from the folks at the jacket place. I really liked this suit from the beginning, but I was still in love with the Begins suit, but after a third viewing of the film I knew it would have to be this suit... Keep the updates flowing, guys!!!
