i prefer the middle one, but will see to remove or repaint the white center parts...

but the 3rd one will be great for a comic style suit i think...

you guys are cominng up with great stuff!! I still plan on making a mesh suit with the fabric (Aramid Nylon blend) I showed in this thread:

inknonkey, your suit looks great man. are there pics of the undersuit, or the mesh that lays over it (or both)?

Whoa that fabric and undersuit look perfect. I've tried to look at the pics and measure stuff out, the mesh is square and it looks as if its between 1/4 in or 6mm if that helps. This undersuit is driving me nuts, its been my biggest hurdle to cross but it looks like we're close!

Batnemo I like the first one and the second one if it had the third ones backing meaning for it being darker backing.

Kbillan I would like four yards.

Ink is it sewed onto a neoprene suit?
I ask because of the knees.

I should clarify - that is not me or my suit. It is another bro here working on that project. I've had nothing to do with it other than follow his progress since last September or so. He held a real under suit so he knew exactly what fabric he was looking for and what pattern should be used.

batnemo, great finds! Did you get them locally?

Zmanz, those are the only pics I have. But I understand the suit that lays under the mesh is nothing special - just regular ole lycra. And not ribbed. :lol

captain, no it's not sewn to neoprene. The undersuit is made up of a couple different meshes. The main one you see and another with more stretch for specific areas like the knees.

So, Inkmonkey, is that guy gonna share the wealth when he gets that done? Give us a few pointers? Maybe a source? Mmmm? Maaaaaybe a point in the right direction? Mmmmm??? (Imagine Stewie talking to Brian about his "novel." For those of you who know what I am talking about, it makes that a bit funnier, and a little less a-hole-ish.)

Batnemo, I think the middle one is pretty close, as well... Definitely has the right shape of mesh. A lot of people are looking for ANYTHING that is mesh without looking at the correct thickness/ shape of the screen used mesh.

Not exactly sure what his plans are but I'm sure he'll come out of the shadows soon and let us know.

here is what we are going to prototype with. I am still looking for other stuff... but this is nice.

It breaths and is a little stretchy too!

I dont have my armor yet to show it off on :(
