Re: carbon fiber tdk suit
Hmm, MB01. That's the right resin/hardener combination, all right; and you kept the Kevlar felt in the dark. Remember it's 2 parts resin to 1 part hardener, and mix VERY THOROUGHLY. I use a plastic fork and mix vigorously for about a minute. It takes a few days for e-K to cure with 606 hardener (more hardener makes softer e-K), and both J-a-n-t-y and I have had much better success than you seem to have, even with felt alone.

Re: carbon fiber tdk suit
that may be the problem, I may not have let it cure long enough. ill have to give it another try , and be more patient this time around.

Re: carbon fiber tdk suit
Good. Try curing for at least 4 days, and the benefit of 606 is the slow cure makes for tougher e-K. And any Plasti Dipping will take another 2-3 days to bond properly. That coating can be exposed to bright sun while doing so, and e-K 'drinks' Plasti Dip, so it usually takes many spray coats applied every 5-10 minutes to the outer surface.
