Very True. Here's a few nuggets of knowledge about the pistols Joker uses throughout Batman 89- First we see this Pistol in the Axis Chemical sequence- This pistol is a Colt "New Service" revolver. HOWEVER, during this opening axis scene there is one shot where the pistol changes- This pistol is owned by "Propstore of London". It never appears again in the film. Later on we the same Colt "New Service" pistol in the dead parents flashback. The Colt New Service is then turned into the BANG gun seen at the end of the filml- You can see in this pic that the pull rod has been removed from the gun when it was altered to shoot the flag. Joker's "Long Gun" as used in the film is made from a Big ole Smith and Wesson. HOWEVER, one quirky thing that I stumbled across is this pistol that was on display at a Planet Hollywood. This pistol is weird. It appears to be made from a Colt "New Service" just like Joker's normal pistol but it doesn't match up with the pistol seen in the film. I believe this pistol was probably built for production, but never used. The S&W does indeed look much cooler than the Colt with the long barrel attached. The Big Gun used to blow up the TV is actual an old German Flaregun. That does it for now. Stay tuned for more!
