Re: It's all part of the plan
Bob seems to have the one thing I desperatly need when it comes to projects. Patience. This thing seems like such a huge task, but its gonna be worth it the second your able to ride down the road in that baby.

Re: It's all part of the plan
got wipers on, guns on whew. beadlocks next, nearly done with exterior. this winter all interior. I got no patience either. I'm just too dumb to realize I'm not supposed to be able to do this in a crappy garage. very dusty. camera turns the flat black sort of blueish, dunoo why.

You know, I never noticed the guns were there. After looking at pics of the Tum for a while, I finally started to see what you mean about having to build it based on the angles. Bravo again. :guitar

Bob, that is amazing. do you have a bumper sticker that says my other car is the tumbler?
really awesome job. the joker sculpt is amazing as well.
The bluish tint to the photos is because of how the paint photographs. the tints of the paint reflect the blue gray, just like the highlights in comic books.
Some colors do not photograph the color they are. blacks, blue, reds, purples, tans and grays.

can I get one in camoflage?
Awesome work Bob. Just working out the details of how it all fits togther, before even building is impressive.
The fact you built this in your garage, mind blowing.
Can't wait to see footage of you taking it for the first spin once it's completed.

Re: It's all part of the plan new pics 10/17
that blueish color thing is weird. here it is but with lighting from a 500 watt bulb, and the 3 overhead lights.
This is more like how you would see it if you were here.
Someone on the Rpf asked "what is the plan". To me, this is like a long long science project. Once the exterior is done, it's done, but the interior, and functionality will evolve over time. So the car will keep sort of evolving. After so many years of batsuits, I realized that It would be more interesting to settle on one theme, and develop it over a number of years, to see how far I can take it. So for my own collection, I won't have much more than this.
I take this car in passes. first pass - visual aspect. second, functionality, followed by improved, and more diverse functionality. How far could one take it? Forget about the you can't do this or that mindset for a minute, and pretend anything is possible.
