Re: TDK Dark Knight Replica Cowl Pull #2 Wearable PICS pg. 1 and 2
That looks amazing. I couldn't tell from the pictures how one gets it on and off - is it zippered or strapped, or something else?

Awesome fuckin cowl. Really good symmetry, and nice crisp features. Looks like you really took your time on this, and it shows alot. I love seeing these projects of effort shine out.

ps, that is a band with a cat lead singer, singing the song "that cowl is fuckin badass, meow mother !@#$"

Looks like there might be enough give to just slip it on and off like a balaklava without undoing anything.

Re: TDK Dark Knight Replica Cowl Pull #2 Wearable PICS pg. 1 and 2
Its Been a long time since i've posted any updates on my TDK cowl. but i thought i should share what one looks like out of the mold with no plastidip and minimal trimming.
Just wanted to share those pics. The light makes it look really grey but the latex itself is somewhere between black and dark grey. not as grey as the lamp makes it.
Iv'e been really busy lately but i always come on here to see what beautful everyone is doing. i myself am working on a couple things at the moment. one of them is the TDK suit. and then a will start a version 2 of the cowl, because i know that this version has obvious differences between the real deal in various areas and aspects. i am still learning day to day and am thankful for that. thanks again guys for all your suppport!
If for any reason you wish to contact me you can do so directly to : Revolutionlongboards@yahoo.com
please let me know what your runboard username is also if you email me. thanks!

Re: TDK Dark Knight Cowl. *** UPDATE PAGE 4!! *** Revolutionimages
Silly question - could it be worn like that or is it just impossible to get your head through?
Probably the latter, but I bet there's probably some material you could cast it in that would make it soft enough to wear like that.
Anyway, Like like to see people try more close-fitting one-piece cowls like this... I'm thinkling something like the Niteowl cowl in the Watchmen movie, which seems to be barely millimetres thick.
All that aside, this is a great interpretation of the TDK cowl and looks great when cut up and put on the mesh. It seems very accurate to me - nothing stands out as being off, but I'm sure your 2nd version will be even better.

ALSO - if you had a fairly thick neck, this cowl would look GREAT with a smooth-skin neoprene hood with nothing else stuck to the neck - would give more of that simple look like the comics has (or the aforementioned Niteowl cowl).
Hmm... wonder which person here will be the first to make a kick-ass Niteowl suit?
