I love Jim Lee and I LOVE this cowl. Great work man; perhaps my favorite cowl ever, no lie. I know I already posted, but I wanted to reiterate how impressed I am.

Tom! Order the blue tint.
I'm getting this for DragonCon next year. Hell I may may get it for MegaCon.
I LOVE IT!
Now I know what I want for Christmas.
This is how I wanted it to my own cowl. Exactly how I want it to be.

And I admire your creativity, you are really letting the crative juices flow. You're a cowl making machine. Is this your 3rd of 4th one this year. And the skills get better with each one.

Thanks alot guys! I hope they're getting better---glad ya'll think so.

I will definitely be trying one in blue, but I'm a little ways off from making molds, much less pulling latex. With Christmas coming up it'll be January at the earliest before I'll have any cowls, so you guys will have to be patient! emoticon

Bart, I'm not sure if it'll fit you---right now I'm guessing it'll go as big as 23", but I won't know for sure til after the first pull. I don't think it'll fit my 24" head, but of course I could always pour it a little thinner if you're not much over 23".

Got to go work on the nose now. I'll keep ya'll updated. :batman

Wunderbar!
Loving the neck strenuation and robe like folds.
This is looks like the type of cowl that would make me contemplate doing a fabric suit (or actually finishing a suit for that matter).
Like everyone else, I look forward to seeing more of this.
Although I've got a 23" noggin I just don't think I could pull off the jawline needed for this one.

Hey Tom, since you said you don't have a Hush figure, I looked and mine and did a little manip to look like the figure.

 Image

I'd have tried taken some pics but I doubt that you'd be able to tell too much from them. That head on the figure is about the size of a dime.

When you look at how Jim Lee does the cowl, it's pretty plain. Like it's just cloth over the head with some ears sticking up that just kinda come out of the head. That's what I love about Lee, the beauty is in the details, even when there aren't any.
