Looking good, it would be pretty cool to get a chrome cowl like that.

One last update, before I start casting. It's been sprayed down with Krylon---this is probably the smoothest sculpt I've done so far, and I hope it pays off with the final product.
I'm hoping to start casting tomorrow. Since I'm going for a one-piece ultracal mold, there's more steps involved, so I still don't expect to see a finished cowl til later in the month.
If this works for me, I do think I'd like to add to it and resculpt it larger, for a big-head version. But I'll wait and see how this one turns out first. :batman
Holy crap! That's beautiful! Strange stirrings under my utility belt!

That cowl is a BEAST man :lol It looks excellent.
Have to agree with infrno, would be killer to get a cowl that looked like chrome.
Cant wait to see this puppy in rubber.
Well done :applaude

Re: Bat Texan Jim Lee-style Cowl Sculpt UPDATED PG 6
Thanks guys, and yeah it's pretty shiny, and baby-butt smooth!
It's not shiny anymore, now it's pink and rubbery! I've started brushing on the silicone, which is slow going. I hope to be able to make the fiberglass mother-mold tomorrow, weather permitting.
It would be kinda cool cast in something shiny---I would think I could use the silicone mold to cast a bust in something. But, latex cowls come first! :batman
