Re: Another TDK sculpt
no, not a collabsable core. I'm too lazy to mess with that, lol. Still got a ways to go with this sculpture. getting to this point was easy, now comes the hard part.

Re: Another TDK sculpt
This is by far the best sculpt so far. By one of the best artists.

Re: Another TDK sculpt
Ha!, you guys are way too kind. I'll say that these pics should be somewhat better than the ones on the first page anyway.
Here's a tougher, more defined Bale. Tell me if you like this over the other. Or feel free to say it just sucks in general..
On these pics the eyebrows, jaw, ears, almost the whole thing has been modified, cept' the eyes. I still see some room for improvement.
on the subject of cores: I wouldn't go and tell you to do it the way I do it. I just sort of phenagel it on and off, But you could end up with it stuck on, end up ripping the silicone to shreds. It's iffy. I basically hate making molds, and I do what I have to, to get the job done. once in a while I go all out, i.e. the second begins torso mold. That thing you could stand on it. With the core inserted it weighs about 150lbs.
On the batpod: I had a thought. why not build it to be taken apart and stored in the tumbler? The two front tires are already there to be used.
On the TDK suit: mixture of foam latex and urethane. it all gets painted same cept' the carbon-see-through stuff, and for the carbon stuff I wanted to try some chrome cloth, with the clear urethane tinted grey.
