You've done a fine job. I can't claim much on the work for this piece except for creative input and critique. Going to have a lot of fun with this once its done!

Here is the latest on the Mangler.. we got it mounted. there is one more ring to put on and then we can fine tune it and paint it.

I know you're not going for total accuracy but it seems to me that having it anchored at the wrist would hinder mobility.

how else am i going to do it.?? this is as close as i can get short of buying actual risors and machineing everything to fit.. this is a difficult piece and it is pretty much all for show not functionality. i am pretty happy with what i have done.
im not trying to be rude but looking at the pictures and trying to get some detail how else could it be done..
to me it looks like it is mounted on the wrist and inbetween the last and middle gauntlet claw.

It seems to me that the way we've done it is close to the way it is to the movie, and really close to what the guys at Hot Toys did for the little plastic one for the figure.  I wish that they had paraded the props around with the suit last year so we all could've gotten a better look at them. But we have to make do with our grainy and shadowy photos. And Hot Toys figures.

well this is a work in progress thread and it will be mounted on both the wrist and the forearm. just like this..
it will be painted very soon. Hope you guys have enjoyed the progress i me and Lord Pupmind have made on this piece.
