So rather than start a new thread I thought I'd just add to this one.

My Reevs Hush cowl arrived today - thanks Shawn, it looks awesome.

But it's my first cowl and I was just wondering for some advice on how to, you know, put it on. I was thinking of using baby powder/talc - that'd be fine right, wouldn't react poorly with the latex or anything? My hair's pretty long and that's making it harder - the brief few seconds I tried putting it on caused a lot of pulling.

Secondly, there are a few imperfections here and there, little "drops" of latex, mostly at the back fortunately, I was just wondering the best way to remove them - dremel tool I guess, or just a sharp hobby knife? Obviously I'd want the most cosmetically pleasing result. Anyway it's not so noticeable and I probably won't bother with that for a while - I just want to see what it looks like on me first!

Again Shawn - thanks a lot and great work. Now I just need to work out a good was to display the thing.

Using baby powder on the inside of the cowl is what I would recommend..it breaks up the surface tension and allows it to come on and off easier( like a rubber glove will sometimes have powder in them to aid getting them on and off)...the spandex hood is also a great way as well...

and as for the little urethane "pimples", you can just pull them off with your fingers...they are very minor and will not affect the cowl

That is such a beautiful cowl! I'm a fan of the longer ears but this one is fantastic. Imagine it with slightly longer ears.(Just throwing that out there) Can't wait to see what your new commision holds.
