I HAVE done it twice but it takes a while. I suggest using a mouse sander with a pretty coarse paper (about a 60 grit) till you are almost where you want then then change to a finer grit. Then scrub the living he........ out of it with lacquer thinner soaked sponge with the scotchbrite pad till you can't see any evidence of them (the thinner softens the latex and helps polish it). THEN plasti-dip and follow with more lacquer thinner work and repaint. If you get any low spots (it is inevitable) apply plasti-dip with a q tip or toothpick till it's higher than the original piece and sand it back down smooth. VERY tedious work but it can be done.nondisclosed_email@example.com (efarrell4)Tue, 17 Mar 2009 22:07:51 +0000 Re: Removing Nipples =Phttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152671,from=rss#post2152671https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152671,from=rss#post2152671It is best to have your nipples removed by a board certified plastic surgeon. Or, you could just put Band-Aids over 'em! nondisclosed_email@example.com (Micksterbat)Tue, 17 Mar 2009 14:19:13 +0000 Re: Removing Nipples =Phttps://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152611,from=rss#post2152611https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152611,from=rss#post21526111000 grit sand paper and waaaaaay too much time and effort :) Worth it if you really hate nips, but I'd recommend accepting them and not risking scuffing up a fine chest! Problem is you'll never get it "right" and instead you'll have flat-spots and "battle-damage" nipples! :rollin nondisclosed_email@example.com (Hunterbat)Tue, 17 Mar 2009 01:39:05 +0000 Removing Nipples from a chest piece.https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152609,from=rss#post2152609https://bbrotherhoodofthebat.runboard.com/p2152609,from=rss#post2152609Yes, I know.. Well I have an artsee panther chest and I can do wihtout the nips. I have heard of sanding them down and then applying plasti over the area, but does anyone know the correct way to get rid of these awkward things? nondisclosed_email@example.com (kevlarpasta)Tue, 17 Mar 2009 00:49:44 +0000
