AMENDING MY COWL OLD COWL LINING TUTORIAL
I know we are all aware of the difficulties in painting urethane, but I didn't know that it was also a tough surface to glue. :huh
A while back, I did a tutorial on lining your cowl. Basically I just wanted a nice, soft, uniform matte look for the interior of my cowls. Well after only displaying for some months, I've noticed that my lining is peeling off in spots. Here I thought I was using a pretty strong spray adhesive. I mean it's used to secure laminate counter tops for C!@#$ sake !!
As I now cover the eyes and mouth of my cowls with black velvet, so you can't see the inside anyway, I'm thinking of just pulling out the lining and scrapping the whole idea !!
Does anyone who's glued or mounted urethane armor have any suggestions for an over the counter adhesive to properly secure a simple cotton cloth liner to the interior of a cowl ??

Re: AMENDING MY COWL OLD COWL LINING TUTORIAL
Hey bro,
I have a urethane cowl coming from Reevz soon, but I have not personally dealt with urethane yet. However, being on the board for quite sometime now I do now all of the trouble the stuff has caused bros, especially regarding painting.
If I remember correctly, bros use something called DAP and Loctite when mounting armour...maybe try looking those up on the boards to see if they'll kick the urethane's ass! lol
BTW, would love to see your BA begins cowl displayed so take some :pics

Brin literally chimed in just now - do as he says lol

Cool....
...yeah, I've heard mention of the loctite superglue gel before. I actually have some at home, I may use to glue down the tricky spots.
