Phocker, can you give me the link to the store you bought that exact side mold? (or do you have anymore of it left from your roll?) I too am in the midst of putting an 89 belt together.
I have a urethane strap but I would rather use what you used instead.
Also what flexible paint did you use?
Your belt looks really great and accurate. :wink

Nice find!

For the movie did they use the actual molding to build belts or did they mold it first and then pour the belts out of a different material?

The movie belts (89 at least) were made of black Devcon urethane from a fibreglass mould, then painted yellow using a flexible urethane paint.
