89 cowl neck problem

hey there guys. im having a huge problem with my 89 cowl. i have a bob dullam 89 cowl i got from reevez, and it is amazing but the problem im having is that the neck is just too long for mine and when i wear it i have to have my neck stretched and my head tilted back to wear the thing and even doing that its still way too long. is there an 89 cowl out there that has a shorter neck or is there anyone out there who has suffered the same thing? ive seen the rd restored screen used one that is goin around, is that one any better to wear? let me know what can be done guys or if i should just have reevez sculpt one ont a bust of my head. thanks guys

'Just add padding where needed. Pad the top of your head to make it come off your shoulders a bit more. Pad your shoulders if it ever floats above your shoulders.

this isnt one of those situations where i can pad anything. the neck is about 3 inches TOO LONG. i would have to cut it apart for it to sit right.

Ive had the same problem with the same cowl.
I noticed in order for it to look right, i had to tilt my head back a little or else the face would buckle. And you're right, this isnt one of those situations where padding can save the day. That cowl is just too big and long.
I dont ever wear mine anymore. It's fantastic for display though! Or...if your a bigger fella with a perfect neck for it. :lol

The RD cowl I got fits super perfect. Unfortunately, the gentleman who pulled them said he wasn't going to make anymore.

Ive also tried the latex version of the BD cowl, but that ones tooo tight and small. :p

I have a Reevz cowl and I'm the opposite. I think it's a little to SHORT for my neck. Would you be interested in swapping??

I highly doubt you will find someone willing to part with their RD 89 cowl. And the gentleman who made it from what I gathered did not want a lot out there. Tough getting him to make another one.
I have PJ Wares 89 cowl in my posession. Since this is not the trading section you can contact me off the board if you want more information.
