Cleaning and care for UD suit
Would Mink oil be good to use on the UD Suit? I think HamelinGraphix mentioned it somewhere for leather boots.

Re: Cleaning and care for UD suit
You could use it, but it gives an oily feel. If I were you, I'd use it only on the boots.
What do you what to clean? Dust?

Re: Cleaning and care for UD suit
I know I have some leather conditioner and possibly cleaner. Got it from Danier Leather when the salesperson suckered me in at the till. :lol

Re: Cleaning and care for UD suit
No, no dust on it. lol But I took it out the other day, and the leather was just looking a little dull. Maybe just the lighting in the room, but it made me think about having to clean and protect it.
Hmm, I have the conditioner and cleaning stuff from our leather couch (got it at the till as well inkmonkey). That stuff might be ok...

Re: Cleaning and care for UD suit
The easiest way to clean and maintain it is to use those cleaning sponges that have the oils added to them.
Typically used for shoes, but wont oil up the leather as raw mink oil would. Just lightly rub the leather areas with the sponge.
Yet again, sound advice from HamelinGraphix. :)
A damp cloth for wiping it down also is a good way to go.

Yay!
I was about to say that the little sponge works wonders for quick jobs too. (did that sound dirty?)
