Belt Capsules

So I've been thinking, everybody has been trying to find functional capsules. The only thing I can think of are those travel toothbrush cases. They're rather large, but you could always resize them. Could be a crap idea, idk lol. Just been thinking about it. What do you guys think?

Yeah, look around the archives. There are some good ones out there, but I can't remember who off the top of my head. Maybe Tuth(sp?).

Another idea would be the capsules that role playing dice come in. They're pretty narrow and wouldn't take up a lot of space on the belt.

I used C02 cartridges. Let the gas out, grind off the nipple, drill two holes in the back, paint it your preferred color, then use metal screws to hold on a bit of leather to slide on the belt.

If some one asks me what it's for, well Batman has a lot of electronic gear on his belt, seems like these capsule gizmos would be a great place for high power batteries.

Just my thought on it.

Re: Belt Capsules

Welcome to the cave, Trevor!

Your question has plagued our functional nuts here for years. Here are Bountys Hunted's really cool results:
Bountys Hunted Functional Belt

I also started with the (VERY hard to find) metal lipstick cases for both my BK3 and BK3.1 belts:
BK3.1 Belt Capsules

What ultimately turned out to satisfy me took extensive engineering and machining, which would be suitable only for fanatic functioneers: KL1 Belt

I'm not recommending most Bros take the last route, only to warn how rough the case and capsule road can get.

Re: Belt Capsules

Alright thanks for the feedback bros. Yea I'll definitely try it out and post pictures. I'm still trying to think of ways to resize them. I'm all about functionality. I not only want my belt to look cool, I want it to be cool too. And I know it's a little off topic from my post. But in math 113 today, while I should have been focused on math lol an idea for a grapnel popped into my head. The idea is still kinda floating around in my head. It's more of just a line shooter at the moment.

Lol coincedentally enough I was talking to bountys hunted about that same thing two years ago when I started. Yup I'm using that same seatbelt belt idea for my comic based suit, little bit of hijacking here lol, which you should check out if you have any ideas. And I have to say I was hoping you'd chime in sooner or later. Your functional suit is amazing!

I've always been intrigued by the cylinders on "The Batman" belt. The bottom is apparently spring-loaded, and whenever he pushes it in, a smoke pellet rolls out. The closest comparison I could think of is those little change things that peanut and hot dog vendors wear at the ballpark.
