Help with a belt
Its time to update my utility belt and I am having a hard time finding cheap boxes. I want functional belt pouches that are fairly ridged. I'll be covering the boxes with a yellow/tan pleather I found. If someone has spotted any at wally world, the orange store or a dollar store, etc. please let me know. I'm looking for a size around 3x5x1 in.
thanks

Re: Help with a belt
If you make the pouch out of your material you can form a box any size you need using plastic canvas. It's in the craft section of Wally World.
You can use it to stiffen up a lot of things, not organic things, but other stuff.

Re: Help with a belt
I hate to admit it, but I have never heard of plastic canvas before. That might be exactly what I need.
Thanks

Re: Help with a belt
You can also check out plastic cigarette boxes. I've seen people around here use these.

Re: Help with a belt
I thought about cigarette cases, but thought they were too narrow. Thanks though.

Re: Help with a belt
anyone heard about Leather paper? a think you guys dont use this therms here, but the traduction would be this here they call "papel couro" its kind of a very Resist and hard cardboard used inside bags to maintain the shape you can cut and glue it easily! You can line with any kind of fabric, leather, pleather soft stuff. Its just a tip, easy and very cheap!
you might dont know what I am talking off, the stuff from country to country are very different, but if anyone gets the basic Idea, hope I help a little!
