Re: Bigbat23's Neal Adams inspired costume.
Thanks guys! I actually was just messing with this darn thing. Trimming it, removing pieces of the plastic drop cloth I used that stuck to the inside. I will see it through to the end and see what it looks like. I do have my blue pleather cape if it doesn't work out. I'm going to need more latex. I HAVE to do the inside cause it seeped through. It's already hot and heavy.

Re: Bigbat23's Neal Adams inspired costume.
Hey guys!!! Yes I'm bringing this dead thread back to life! Time to upgrade my favorite suit. I've been at it for quite a bit now. Ready to share.
First up is the new muscle suit. This one the muscles fit my body better.
with the old top over it.
This is after I "skinned" the foam muscles with another spandex top, making it easier to put on the gray top.
Test fitting with new Eastbay compression gear and new blue trunks which I'm still not happy with. Also the new belt but we'll get to that in a minute.
I really love the subtle muscle tone.
Now to the belt. Foam is great! It's just so easy to crease it. So while at work I was changing out the menu board and thought to myself these will be perfect for a layer over the foam. It was a success.
The acrylic tubes and cabochons to make the capsules.
And here is the belt now. Still need to clear coat it and add velcro. So yeah, the belt is made of foam and Burger Kings menu signs. Lol
The chest emblem is a For Sale sign. More to come.

Re: Bigbat23's Neal Adams inspired costume.
Thanks Chris buddy!!!
Update. Test fitting today after mounting the chest emblem. I redid the closure of the cape too. I have also come to the realization that I'm gonna have to make my own trunks. The new pair will be made of pleather so I can paint them to match everything else. Besides that I'm loving the way things are looking.

Re: Bigbat23's Neal Adams inspired costume.
Thanks Ed! Sorry I haven't been around these parts lately but as October nears, it's time to kick into gear.
So I ended up making my own pleather trunks. Came out pretty good. But now everything sits right and they connect to the belt to keep it all in place.
I've been working on my new cowl so look out for that.
