Re: The 'Holy Grail' of BATcowls
That is amazing. I need to learn how to sew.

Lol, believe me I can't sew .... but was tired of asking for favours, so decided to have a go myself!

Re: The 'Holy Grail' of BATcowls
I am really pumped to see this bad boy completed. Very few cloth cowls around as it seems.

Re: The 'Holy Grail' of BATcowls
Always thought there should be more cloth floating around. Great stuff.

Re: The 'Holy Grail' of BATcowls
OK, here's the start of the cowl in the black material that matches the cape ... this is only a couple of images, will try and take a few more laters as both sides/ears are now complete!
I've actually tried the cowl on and I can't believe how it's working ... as the material is stretchy it's doing exactly as I wanted it to do and hugging the contours of my face.
Hopefully sometime this week i'll have the front face piece in place .... can't wait :0)
What you're seeing is the material 'pinned', it's now been sewn, like I say, hopefully i'll get a couple of more up later!
Have to say the silhouette of the cowl with the cape is just what I'm looking for!
