Batgirl cosplay
Okay, so with the success of my Joker TDK cosplay, I'm deciding to do one member of the Bat family...That being Batgirl - THE original batgirl...no, not Cassandra Cain and certainly not Stephanie Brown as Batgirls, it's Babs Gordon that I plan on doing.
Reason is, I'm planning to do a version of this pic I saw when I was snooping around for some Batman Arkham City mods -
And thought that it looked cool, I already have the grapnel gun and will be purchasing a batarang that comes from Arkham City.
Here is the grapnel gun -
I'm getting the cowl from HeroWares on facebook/etsy and the utility belt too from there.
:signal
So fellow batcosplayers, when I post some up of the cosplay, I'd love some advice from the batfamily and other cosplayers on what you think could do better.
I will be putting up a makeup test pic soon.

Re: Batgirl cosplay
I can't wait to see this. I don't play video games and don't care for most of the designs in the Arkham games, but this looks great. I am curious to see what you do for the texture on the body suit.

Re: Batgirl cosplay
Very cool. Batgirl doesn't get enough love. And I like the fact you are going OG with B.G.

The suit itself will from cosplay house. Will post pics when I get the suit itself. (it will come with a cowl but if the cowl is good, I'll stay with the cowl instead of buying it from etsy. (still getting the utility belt though)

Re: Batgirl cosplay
for reference, here is the cosplay -
It looks like the cowl is connected by velcro, which looks good. Looking at the utility belt, it may do for now, though I may get the utility belt from Heros Wares asap.

Re: Batgirl cosplay
Hope that "what you get is what you see." After years of Rubies' photos being 10x better than their finished products (and lots of hideous zentai suits on ebay), there's a Batman-level skepticism about such things 'round here. We don't want anyone else to get burned.
