Re: Batgirl cosplay
Cowls seem to be the most challenging to get right, I have been finiking with My main cowl (my profile picture)for a year now! It turned out ok, but way to large and gave me the bobblehead look too. I made another one out of foam, currently plasti dipping, and took the time to size it this time and I am now 100% happy with how it fits n looks. I am planning on building a Batgirl cowl next the same way. I don't have anyone doing a batgirl out here so maybe ill send it to ya.

Re: Batgirl cosplay
well the profile pic is my new foam made cowl, it fits and looks allot better than the other one mentioned. I pretty much destroyed my old one.
How is your batgirl project coming along?

Re: Batgirl cosplay
It's coming along well. I've had to stop for a while, but I'm planning on making a few Adam West Batman-esque stuff like Shark Repellent spray cos it reminded me of the easter egg in Arkham City when you get eaten by Penguin's shark - "You will have to try the Shark Repellent spray"

Re: Batgirl cosplay
Seems that you're making good progress. If funds are low you could also try a '92 Returns cowl. They are all over ebay all the time and pretty inexpensive.
I've seen some of the members here cut them down for their significant batgirls and they look good.
Surprised no one has mentioned it yet.
We all want the best for our costumes but sometimes we all have to settle for something that is a little less than perfect.
I know I have had to do that.

Re: Batgirl cosplay
Im curious on how a TDK cowl would look for batgirl. It does have very masculine features and may not flow well, with the look, but I bet a few minor changes it could work and look great.
I have been also wondering about making some shark repellant just in case somebody does ask if I have it, LOL! I just played through the Arkham game again and giggle at that part. I love references like that.
I saw the reevesfx cowl and it looks awesome if you have checked into that yet

Re: Batgirl cosplay
I've bought a mask from Jester before. It was a good deal, alas my melon would not fit into it. Instead I gave it to my son. I bought another and it didn't fit either. So I'll give that to my other son.
But normal sized people shouldn't have a problem.
