No sir. My wife spends a lot of time there because of her job. But we actually live in El Paso TX. Been meaning to take the kids to a con and we tried to get tickets to the SDCC but it sold out. So NYCC was our send choice. You going to that one?

I wanted to buy I just checked the tickets ands are all sold out for this upcoming October.I might try and see if I can get them else where but I do have a baby due October which might ruin into the cob so I'll have to see lol.

Just sold the V1 cowl so I could go about ordering the V2 along with th neckpiece and all. Can't wait for that. 
Now I know I should have shaved but I took the pic right after pulling the cowl out the box just to get a glimpse of what it looked like. So anyhow, just for the hell of it I made a little batman v superman photoshop. Enjoy

Hey Jerry, how are things? Good I hope. Okay, Comic Con is in 8 days so I've been working hard to get this suit done in time. I did a test fitting today and I've ran into a slight problem. So I'm asking you how do you keep your shoulder armor in place? It's really the only issue I'm having. Thanks man.

The way I'm keeping it in place is the way it's setup in the harness. It's actually being supported by the chest piece as well. I might also add some Velcro if I need to on my next version if it calls for it. I'll snap a pic of the back and show you how I'm setup.

Thanks for the quick response buddy. Unfortunately the way my harness is setup,that won't be an option. I think I may have come up with something. Cross your fingers. I'll post pics later.

Haven't posted in a while. Been so busy at work and making costume pieces for others I haven't been able to get around to making progress on my own costume.
I have however found some vinyl that I'm thinking of wrapping all my new armor pieces in and then painting with gunmetal grey fabric and vinyl paint. Hopefully it works out how I envision it because I bought two yards of the stuff which I hope should be enough. in the meantime I'll leave you with an image of one of my commissioned gauntlets after its first layer of primer. I like these images because the color of the primer really makes all the little details pop. Hopefully I'll have some fresh progress pics to share soon.
