The official 2016 Dragon Con thread
OK folks,
This is your official 2016 Dragon Con thread. Feel free to use this thread to arrange meet ups, photo shoots and to post your pics from the Con. I've been to Dragon Con 4 times and it's always a blast. I just wish I didn't have other obligations right now so I could go. Le and the rest of us live the con through your experiences. :signal

There were very few this year :tired
The BotB photo was two Bats and a Cat.
I am waiting for Sam to finish all of the pics and then will post a link. ( I have posted a seperate thread with a pic elsewhere)
Jason did take a shot of me on my own on the sun chairs to illustrate the change lol!!
For me Dragon con isn't the same as it one was, now too many just buy an off the shelf costume and go get drunk. There are far fewer of the costumers that spend a year or so preparing and developing a costume. I am not saying it is better or worse just different.
And of course the worst part of all is you weren't there!!

Sounds to me like worse, sadly. The last time I think I went was 2009 and it was already heading down that path. I recall feeling like I should have headed home a day earlier than I did and thinking, "I don't think I'll di this again". From the sounds of things it isn't worth the cost between the inability to find a decent room, the cost of a flight etc. Sad,,,,, very sad. :ohwell
